Ancianos que he cuidado como enfermero. Esos lugares que nadie visita, que nos parecen tristes, de sufrimiento y enfermedad. Y no es cierto, cada día que estuve con ellos me dieron la vida, me llenaron de energía y de risas. Y ahora, solo su recuerdo sigue empujándome. El mundo los olvida creyendo que así se salva de algo. Y el mundo se los pierde.

These images are of elders that I took care of while I was a nurse. Senior centres are places that nobody likes to visit as they seem sad to us and we often think they are filled with people who are sick and suffering. However, this is not true, every day that I was with them, they gave me a life filled with energy and laughter. Memories of my time spent there encourage me everyday. Even when the rest of the world forgets about them I will never stop believing in them.
